IMPORTANT IRS TAX SEASON UPDATES
- Low to moderate income workers can earn special tax credit if they save for retirement.

- Age 70 ½ needs to make sure they take their RMD’s
- If you have moved please make sure you notify the following:
- IRS (Please got to IRS.gov look for form 8822)
- Post Office
- Employers
- Health Insurance Marketplace (if applicable)
- If your name has changed due to marriage or divorce, please contact your local Social Security office
- Standard Mileage has been changed per the following:

o .57 ½ cents Business | o .54 cents Business |
o .23 cents Medical | o .19 cents Medical |
o .14 cents Charity | o .14 cents Charity (no change) |
- If you qualify for the Earned Income Credit (EIC) or additional Child Tax Credit refunds, please be prepared to not see your refund until the earliest February 27, 2017 provided this is direct deposit and no issues.
